When in the early days of America Oliver Cromwell, a protestant, banned xmas because it was a pagan festival?

Carols and xmas trees are anti-jesus, so why do you get upset when people try to make xmas a more inclusive holiday when it clearly is not an xtian one?

Oliver Cromwell has said carols and trees and giving presents is anti-jesus.

Why are all xtians avoiding the real issue?
Xmas should be changed because non-xtians are being excluded and the holiday itself is not an xtian one; as many protestants have said before.

Ok for those of you who just like to “answer” questions without first reading them:
I did not hit on the girl, i thought that much was clear. I say I found in her my other half. She does not know how i feel, and she will never learn as long as she is with my friend. That is the reason i am asking this in the first place.
Were I not to be thinking of my friend I would give it no second thought and try to steal her… That is not me… I simply sit back and dwell in my own world of shadows waiting until I know what I must do…
As for her… I really dont know how she feels… I could never tell how girls feel.. who can? I can tell that she feels connected to me, yet i dont know if it is in the same degree as I feel it.
Please if you are writing here only to degrade my situation, you definitely have missed my point.
There is nothing bad with falling in love… This is my sin..
There is sin in breaking your friend’s relationship…
And this I have not and will not do.

ok again i say…NO EGG NOG type drinks, and i would prefer to stay away from things such as everclear because of how strong it is. also, i’m not a big fan of rum unless it is flavored. things like martinis wont work because i dont really want to taste the alcohol. i am in college and i know how to drink/how not to get out of control and sick, but i’m not a big fan of drinks that taste like alcohol. and i want to drink on my 21st birthday at my family celebration, so please no suggestions to just not drink. thanks!
