Since there was an oil spill in the gulf of mexico, my mom doesn’t want to go to the Caribbean this summer because shes worried about the water. (will the oil spill affect the Caribbean?) So i guess we can’t go anywhere tropical, but what are some good places by the ocean in the us? We are already going to florida in august, so that doesn’t work. But, i’ve been thinking about north carolina or california. I want to go to LA but is the water warm by there? also whats the nearest beach by la?
