My friend dared me to take a bath with the computer, unplugged it of course. I thought nothing would happen. I took a bath with the computer. Afterwards, I tried to hook up the computer and it would not work. I figured that since it worked before I took a bath with the computer, that something bad happened to the computer while I took a bath. It simply will not turn on.

How can I fix this problem?

I can back them up two ways, One is by dvd’s and the other is adding their computer to my online automated mozy backup. Which they charge me $5 a month to back up my computer’s files. They charge an extra $5 a month for each computer added.

Then Also fixing people’s computer problems, I can pretty much fix any problem. Though of course I cannot guarantee it. But I am pretty good. (heck i built my first pc for the first time)

How much should I charge them to run a spyware program and stuff?

How much should I charge them to replace an item in their computer?

I know its a lot of questions but i just don’t know any suggestions?

I say i have a bit more then average knowledge of computers but definetly not a genius

I just bought a hard drive and since the computer i want to put it in doesn’t have a cd drive, so I took the hard drive to another computer and installed Windows XP in it.

Can I switch the hard drive to my other computer that doesn’t have cd drive without problems? Will it read the hard drive with windows in it?
Also will i have problems in the future since windows was installed from another computer?

I jammed the on/off button on my computer.It was stuck and it made a weird noise like it was continuously starting up along with the flashing of light that tells you that the computer is busy.I unplugged it, opened up my computer, and unjammed the button.When i went back to turn on my computer it still made the weird noise and had the light flashing.I tried pressing and holding the button until it turned off but it wouldn’t turn off.Eventually i think it stopped because it burned out.I unplug it and plug it back in and the noise starts sounding again and the light flashing again.
