My kids have to stay home for break, and I’d like to make it interesting while i’m at work. Any ideas for a theme of activities I can have them do all week, or clues i can leave them? I want to end the week with something fun/special and have them build up the momentum all week with something that will keep them busy. Any ideas?

She’ll want only to chew on a long celery stick.
She won’t have hot biscuits, or corn bread, or pie,
She’ll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.
She’s hungry, she’s lonesome, her life is a bore -
But isn’t that what January is for?
Unable to giggle, no longer a riot.
