Aubrey A asked: We are planning a vacation for Spring Break this year (March 21-29). We want to go somewhere that we can drive and don’t have to fly. I have considered Chicago, Gatlinburg, TN, and Washington D.C. We don’t really want to go to Disney World this time and we don’t want to go to the beach. Or at least not somewhere where the beach is the only thing to do. The girls are 3 and 7 and we want something that will be fun for them. We live near Louisville, KY. Any help would be appreciated.
We also would like to spend a total of around $1500 – $2000. Also if you have any information on Gatlinburg, Chicago, or Washington D.C. that the kids would enjoy, please let me know.

Thanks Donna- but their dad has been wanting to go there since we moved to Texas and I think it would be unfair to go without him…
All of these don’t sound to bad so far and far as Juarez- We are military and are forbid to go there- I wouldn’t anyway!- Are there any places close by to dig for gems or something like that?

we would be flying TO Orlando, then could we fly straight to Destin if possible?
