Is it cold in Hawaii during winter?

My family and I are thinking about getting away for Christmas and going to Hawaii for the holidays. We’re not sure about what the weather is like there though. We are looking for somewhere tropical and warm. I would appreciate it very much if someone could help us.

The Hawaiian Islands are one of the most beautiful places on earth. The weather is friendly. The temperature ranges from 60-90 degrees all year long. It’s a little warmer in summer, and a little cooler in winter, but every day is a beach day for somebody.

It’s ABSOLUTELY FREEZING in hawaii in the winter, all the palm trees have snow on them, the hula ladies die because they don’t have proper clothing, it’s under 10 degrees!!! i would go somewhere else,! You should go to canada, I hear it’s very warm there in the winter!

Definitely not and February is a great time to go. Actually, anytime is a good time to go to Hawaii, but I would advise not summer as it is much busier and more expensive. If you go, have a wonderful time and if you go to Oahu, you must climb Diamond Head!

I was in Hawaii last Xmas. It rained about 75% of the time; and it was really too cold to swim in the water. the air temp wasn’t too bad–70′s and cooler at night (needed a sweater). It was still nice. I am from CA–so I base this on my reference! If you are from Des Moines–it will be alot warmer!! LOL.
