edit,RB is full of beans,i lived in ft lauderdale when it was the hot spot for spring break,and the majority of those who came there participated in getting completely wasted on a daily basis,joining in on wet t shirt contests or shot drinking contests,the majority may be sensible when at school,but when on spring break they were animals.

There’s one word in your question that qualifies the answer. “Most” students don’t participate in such behavior. Many students do, but the majority are hard working individuals who have better standards than you see portrayed in the media. Thousands of students spend spring break on missions trips through their student ministry organizations on campus (both private and public universities). Many others return home to see family or stay at school because of their part time jobs. Actually the majority don’t spend the week partying, like the first response would make you believe.
The students who party are the ones who will party on campus anyway. Every school has them, and they think everyone else is just like them. However, the majority of students are serious about their studies and don’t participate in such behavior.
