My friends and I want to spend Spring Break in Puerto Rico. What is the best area to stay in?

I’m in college and we want to find a place where we can party and go to clubs. We also want it to be near a beach so we can chill. We were thinking of a resort. What are some other places we should definitely go to? Again, we’re in college so we don’t have a lot of money.
And I didn’t say we wanted to get drunk. We also want to explore and see other aspects of Puerto Rico, hence me saying “what are some other places we should definitely go to”.

    Well my friend,
I suggest stay in the San Juan area (include Isla Verde). In this area is located the most important historical sites of the Island and all the night life. The other towns you named are very far from the airport and if you don’t rent a car you can’t be able to move. In the Isla Verde area you can found our best hotels (El San Juan Hotel & Casino [$290.00 per nigth] and The Ritz Carlton [$304.00 per night]) there are other no so expensive but don’t have beach. In the Condado area you can stay in the Condado Plaza ($250.00 per nigth) and El Caribe Hilton (around the same rate). You most check this price because in the time you come all the people was working and at school. In the San juan area you most visit the Old San Juan, at your hotel you can found tours to the El Yunque (rainforest), Las Cavernas Del Rio Camuy (caverns), Arecibo Radiotescopie and many other places. Enjoy your trip!:)

Check out the Intercontinental San Juan

They are on Isla Verde next to PR’s best beaches and very close to Condado, where all the clubs and bars are so it is close enough to enjoy a party. It is nice enough but not a resort so you are not totally secluded from what PR has to offer.

Check out the Bacardi Distillery which is a short boat ride off the port near Old San Juan and the fort which is a PR landmark.

Book now so you get the best price

If you’re going there to party, then I can’t help you! I went to explore, not to party and get drunk!

Personally, I would not recommend San Juan. Although it is a beautiful city it is quite expensive. I recommend the west side of the island. There is a small town call Rincon. There you will have beach, water sports, bars and good restaurants.
