It really depends on the guy – there’s no generic present and if there was, it would be as cliche as all the supposedly generic presents for women (flowers, chocolates)

Cologne is always the best thing to give to a guy for a present in my opinion. Its affordable, guys like to smell good, and its the perfect present if you dont know what to get him.
Polo Blue smells really good. I use it and my gf loves the smell of it.

Does he like fishing if he does get him a new fishing rod! You also could get him a camera or a video camera. Does he like sports get him a jersey!
