where is a good place for the extended family and i to stay in the snowy mountains? Prefably where it snows?

If you know anyone who is a member of a ski lodge you may be able to get that many people in.
Are you looking for hotels or apartments? If money is not a problem, I would look into apartments in Thredbo. You will not find many that will sleep that many people, but you may be able to find adjoining apartments. There are very few apartments in Perisher – the other main NSW resort.
Jindabyne is a town about 30 min from the main NSW ski resorts. It has a wide range of different types of accommodation. Do a google search for Jindabyne real estate agents. They all have a range of accommodation, and may have a suitable property.
There are also several places in the Thredbo Valley. Bimblegumbie is one. There is also Penderlea, Crackenback Cottage and Ivos Farm.
You could also look at the accommodation pages at
