GettinHitched 10-2-11 asked: I have just come back from a week’s vacation in Mystic, CT (I’m from the Chicagoland area), and I have one more week of paid vacation for the year that I have to use before Dec. 31st. I haven’t thought of what to do with that week yet. I definitely want to do something fun and relaxing, but my boyfriend doesn’t have any more vacation time at his job, so I’ll be alone whatever it is I’m doing. Any suggestions on what to do or where to go? I don’t have a ton of money and I don’t have a passport. I will be using my paid time off sometime between November 1st and December 31st.
Sorry you’re hurting Shirley. Things will get better soon. You’re in my thoughts.

brilliantbrain asked: My hamster is a male winter light dwarf hamster. While I am on vacation, I’m giving him to my friend to take care of. I was writing the list of things for them to do, and I wrote that he should fill my hamsters cup of food full, EVERY night. But then I wondered if that was too much or too little or perfect? (His cup is about an inch tall, and an inch and a half wide. It’s a square.) How much should I feed him?

Phillip S asked: I want to take my wife on a nice, relaxing vacation. We enjoy the outdoors and wildlife. We don’t need luxury but don’t want to be slumming it either. What are some good suggestions for activities to do? When is the best time to visit the Everglades. Summer or Winter? Is it cheaper to go summer or winter?

Kenzy and Braydens mom asked: My boyfriend and I are considering the idea of a cruise this winter and want to make it a family vacation, I have looked into some cruise lines but they all seem to only accommodate 5 people. Is there any way around this and if so what would be the best way to do so? It would be myself and boyfriend and our kids (blended family) ages 14, 10, 3 and 1. I cant imagine having to leave any of them at Grandma’s while on vacation. Any suggestions or personal experiences? Thanks
Michael

Trix_R_not_4_kids asked: I have many friends and family members who go out of town almost every summer and sometimes even in the summer AND in the Winter break. Me and my husband run our own business so business is sometimes up and sometimes down. It’s not like we get a set amount of money weekly or bi-weekly. When they go on vacation so much, sometimes I get jealous that I don’t get to go anywhere. I haven’t been anywhere international in over 7 years and one thing I really want to do is to travel. My husband says that if we are patient, things will work out for us in the future. I know it is unfair for my family/friends to be jealous, because its not like they’re trying to rub it in my face and I’m happy for them that they get the chance to spend time with their families. So, how do I stop being jealous of them? Serious answers only.

April asked: My husband and I have been married for almost seven years. Every winter he has a guys weekend and every summer he will go camping with the same group. He also goes hunting one or two weekends in the fall. All in all it adds up to 3 or 4 separate guys weekends during the year. This does not include the days he will go fishing with his BFF in the summer. He has not planned a vacation with me in quite some time. My question is, how much is too much time with friends when you are married?
