My boyfriend and I will be going to London for a week during the winter holiday. We’ll be celebrating NYE there and we’re staying in Notting Hill neighborhood, next to Portobello Market. Any recommendations for romantic eating spots throughout the week around London and especially for NYE. We’re looking for off-beaten ideas and nothing too over the top.

If you stay out of the dead centre of london, you will find loads of affordable beautiful restaurants. I have had some wonderful food in italian restaurants in Earls Court and Greenwich. Just jump on a tube and you will find loads. And i have to mention this, if you love a good curry, get on the tube to Aldwich and ask directions to Brick Lane. it is a road about a mile long, which is nothing but curry houses on either side! heaven!
