There is a teacher on my team who picked “Sing We Now of Christmas,” which is a very religious song that tells the story of the birth of Jesus. In the song it is stated repeatedly that the “king is born.” Being Jewish, I find this offensive and the teacher sees nothing wrong with what she is doing. She also stated, “if she can’t have that song then her class won’t participate!” If we were doing “holidays around the world” it wouldn’t be so bad, but we have songs like “holiday parade” and “the everlasting fruitcake.” Does anyone have any advice for me? I tried to have my team convince her, which didn’t work and I spoke to the principal on Friday. She’s is speaking to her tomorrow. What else can I say?

This is our first holiday as a couple. Were 21 and 20, she’s been away for 4 months in Italy for school, and i know she’s planning a big night/morning for us. I think she’s making dinner and it’s just going to be the two of us. Other than seeing her on web cam like once a week i don’t get to spend any time with her and I would like to do something more than just buy her a gift. So I’m trying to think of something to do with/for her in December(Michigan so def cold out lol). Doesn’t have to be involved w/ Christmas but can be.

Ps I’m a 21 year old guy. I’ve obviously thought about all the bedroom stuff lol.

I hated the fish and oysters, but would fill up on the lefse. On Xmas Day, my german gram would have turkey or ham, real mincemeat pie, fruitcake, and bread pudding, all of which I stuffed myself with. Now we have ham and mashed potaotes, green bean casserole, and apple pie alamode. How much more all american could you get?

I accidentally splurged their child support money on our three day vacation in Las Vegas, at Prada and made a down payment on a new luxury car for my kids during all of the after Thanksgiving day sales, you know how hard to pass up all the deals on Black Friday. Anyway now I’m sort of in a bind because the next checks won’t come in until after Christmas and their dead beat father won’t give them an advance.
