misslilly asked: Aproximately 90% of the answers to my questions have been wrong or too complicated for me to be brave enough for me to try. This includes many so called Help Sites, people in Best Buy Customer Service, self proclaimed geeks, etc. Is there anyone who actually knows about problem solving who is really interested in helping people? I wouldn’t mind paying for help if I could be sure that I was not being decieved. With all the people using computers these days you would think that there would be at least a small percentage of honest, kind people out there somewhere.

Afterwards, I tried to hook up the computer and it would not work. I figured that since it worked before I took a bath with the computer, that something bad happened to the computer while I took a bath. It simply will not turn on.

shane asked: I live 2hrs away from him, and i need an efficient way of helping him with computer stuff. Its usually with simple issues, but I want to help him not be frustrated if hes confused. Phone isn’t the best option, as he is 90% deaf in both ears, and it would be easier to SHOW him what to do. He runs on XP, and I have a mac on OSX 10.4, but I also have XP through parallels. Is there a way to make a video of what he should do that I can email him? What do the rest of you do to help others (other than phone please).
