Andrew P asked:
is it worth it. i would ask for the pro holiday bundle? is it worth it considering the systems i already have. halo3, gears, gears 2, fable2. should i ask for it or no. this is my last year to ask for gifts from my aunts and uncles so i want to ask for a good gift. what do you think, 360?

smiley asked: with my first December 25th as a muslim, I need to make some choices-
Do I get presents for the sake of a family gathering?
What about my family refusing to give me Eid presents?
[ I didn't demand that they do but when it came up in conversation, my mom noted that 'this is a christian household so I would get presents from her on Christmas']
Is it immature or proactive to not share in their holiday when they didn’t share in mine?
I’d appreciate any feedback/advice on this subject- please provide proactive comments, not insults
Good point about Eid and gifts and I see it as an occasion for worship with gifts being a ‘side note’ so to speak
- my point was that when I mentioned Eid, my family were very negative about acknowledging it at all or wanting to hear about why Muslim celebrate.
I should clarify that I am married and don’t live with my parents. Also I agree with the historical proof that xmas is a pagan holiday made religious, which my parents believe too but still observe. Thanks
Antonio

Its a listing of gifts people want, so people buying have an idea what to get someone. Any thoughts?

moomoo asked: i live with my bf and we have been together for a year. his parents are really great and are very generous (took me on a paid vacation to belize, are taking us to D.C. next week) they aren’t super rich or anything, but they are very giving people. well, at dinner the other night his mom asked me to tell her what i wanted for xmas. well i often feel uncomfortable asking for gifts (don’t know the price range) so i asked for season four of LOST. she said that was good and asked what else i wanted. i have no idea what to ask for…i don’t want to ask for anything too expensive, nor do i want to ask for a gift card where i would see exactly how much she spent. any guidelines or suggestions?
