Should I go to spring break with a bunch of morons?

I recently met a friend, and we discussed the possibility of going on vacation for spring break to california. He said fine, he will organize it, and let me know. So recently he got in contact with some girl who has contacts in California and we can all go there. Problem is not only is she bossy, but she is a skank both physically and mentally. And now everyone else going will be her friend. Plus, I am pretty sure we will be smoking pot there, and drinking; something I am not eager to do. But if I dont go with them, Ill have to go alone. Do I really have a choice?

New relationship and no call on Thanksgiving?

I met a guy on vacation. He didn’t call me for two weeks but then called me four times in a week and we really hit it off. He talked about our visiting each other and said he wished we had met sooner. For Thanksgiving he was traveling to see family and would be away for 8 days. He hasn’t called me since he left and it has been 6 days since we spoke. Is this a really bad sign or is our relationship just so new that it is okay for him to bypass calling over Thanksgiving? What should I do if he calls next week?

What to do for Valentines Day for a new but long distance relationship?

I met a guy over Xmas 2 states away and we hit it off really well, had 3 dates. We’ve remained in contact, speak about 3x per week and as a matter of fact he is flying to see me on his vacation in 2 weeks. Do I acknowledge VDay? How? I have no experience in long distance relationships so any idea what I may expect from him? Thanks!
