GettinHitched 10-2-11 asked: I have just come back from a week’s vacation in Mystic, CT (I’m from the Chicagoland area), and I have one more week of paid vacation for the year that I have to use before Dec. 31st. I haven’t thought of what to do with that week yet. I definitely want to do something fun and relaxing, but my boyfriend doesn’t have any more vacation time at his job, so I’ll be alone whatever it is I’m doing. Any suggestions on what to do or where to go? I don’t have a ton of money and I don’t have a passport. I will be using my paid time off sometime between November 1st and December 31st.
Sorry you’re hurting Shirley. Things will get better soon. You’re in my thoughts.

Welcomed my son July 21, 2009 asked:
I am planning a vacation for me, my boyfriend and our son.. We are planning this vacation for spring when our son will be 19-20 mo old. Anyone know of any good kid friendly places we can take him in the US? It needs to not be too expensive (even though I know it’s going to cost some money lol) and it would be best if it was on the west coast, or close to the west coast.
Well we want to get out of our city/state, and just do a family thing. Chuckee cheese is more of a day activity then a vacation

Tina Y asked: I live in Boston and I can’t go home for Thanksgiving break. I have nobody who can take me in or any money to stay at a hotel. My dorm is a 9 story building, with my room on the top floor. I was wondering if I would likely get caught if I used anything during break, such as water, electricity or the internet. Usually, the rules for vacation break is to leave the heat on and the fridge plugged in, but nothing else.
Also, I plan on buying some canned food and surviving on that for four days until break is over. Any ideas?
And I definitely do need to leave for break. I go to a private school (Boston U) and the deadline for getting vacation housing (which I have to pay for, but can be charged to my student account) has passed.
Also, if you think I can get caught, would you mind elaborating HOW I could get caught? The dorm is very large (it used to be a hotel) and I don’t intend on leaving it the entire break.

byersmoney asked: I’ve noticed that the prices of inclusive vacations have risen substantially in the last week. My wife thinks that the cost may have risen due to the Easter weekend approaching. The question is … would it make sense to wait until Monday to book , (thinking that the prices would go down again after Easter) … or would they keep rising regardless … thus reducing the quality of trip we could get for our money. We are leaving within 2 weeks.

Hi, I’m a teenage kid from Evansville Indiana and I’m trying to make some money during the fall and winter for the holidays and I’m not sure on how much I should charge people for the work. I’m doing, Mowing, Snow Shoveling, Leaf Removal, Cleaning Out Gutters, Shrub Trimming, Mulch Installation, and Clean Ups. Is there a good method to calculate prices? Should I charge by the hour if so how much an hour? I appreciate any awnsers, Thanks.
