where to go for xmas

I have just won £2000 and have decided to keep it and book a holiday for two weeks over xmas and new year but cant decide where to go or even if that will be enough money it is only for flights and accommodation as will save the spending money from now to then, there will be 3 of us travelling two adults and a 15yr old boy ANY IDEAS WELCOME
oh and prefer to fly from any scottish airport or north england at a push but really not wanting to travel to london
thanks guys but looking for sun, sea and relaxation as dont see much of any as work loads and live in scotlad……………… but dont think im so shallow because north america and the aurora boralis are in my top 5 sights to see xxxxxxxxxx

I would suggest waiting till after the holidays to go somewhere, because personally I have learned that there really is no place like home for the holidays! But a cruise would be nice. You should talk it over with the rest of your family to see if they’d like to go someplace!
